So, yesterday we had the arrival of on of Alan’s friends from England with his four year old son, Quillian. (sp?) Eva left to go to a funeral in Budapest. Today, Elke left to continue her travels and I forgot to mention that we have two Bulgarians now WWOOFing here as well. So, there is an interesting mix of people and energies here… energy meaning that this kind is one of the most talkative and energetic children I have EVER been around, and I have been around a lot of kids.
He is great actually, very intelligent and imaginative… loves to make up plays and songs which is amusing to me seeing as though he has deemed that I shall take part in most of them. He has also deemed that I am a very nice girl and his friend. I feel special! In fact, he has even said that I am beautiful. This kid is definitely on my good side! *grins*
Last night he fell asleep on my lap, passed right out curled up with his head on my arm, it was very cute actually. This morning we had a bit of a superman moment - I did not have my glasses on and he told his Dad that when he sees the nice girl that he was playing with last night that he was going to play with her again… I was sitting right at the table looking at him at this time and had even said good morning to him. Well, we could not figure out why he did not recognize me until I got an idea and put my glasses back on. All of a sudden he recognized me…
How people could not recognize Superman when he was Clark Kent? They had the mentality of four year olds *grins*
Today was a pseudo day off due to the fact that it has been crazy hot! Of course, I did not have a day off and made a zuchinni quiche, got bread from the little village store, milked the goat and did a ton of other stuff. Yay me! Oh, and looked after Quillian because I am just that good (and his Dad has realized that he has a semi-willing victim to hoist his son upon. Heh) I can only guess now how Grandma felt when looking after my sister and I… and I am sure that K and I were more of a handful than this lovely little boy.
Anywho, going to go and play now as my presence has been requested…
