Chick-ago
Chicago was fun. I didn't get to do any of the stuff that I wanted, but I didn't actually ask Simon if he wanted to anything either. I ended up walking around in downtown Chicago by myself for awhile on Saturday. I think Simon was amazed as I walked into the hotel looking completely windblown, and he asked where the other girls were and I replied "I don't know. I ditched them right after I got to Macy's, and walked back here on my own." I was proud of myself, too...being autonomous for once in my life. We had a good time despite quite a few scheduling mishaps. Oh, and our room was on the 23rd floor of the hotelMonday at work I was dragging my ass big time, and everyone just sort of left me alone to do my thing. My thing ended up being ordering Christmas presents for Simon's family. Yep, that's what I spent almost all day at work doing. Work's been sort of dead lately, it must be the holidays... I guess people just aren't in the suing mood.
I finally got my tree up and finished on Monday. Now all I have to do is finish my Christmas shopping...there's not TOO much left to do. And SRKLLP's holiday dinner is this Friday. I'm looking forward to it a lot, and Simon's been asking me what he should wear, so I guess he's definitely coming. I'm a little anxious about the whole thing, because I'm never sure how Simon will behave, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that his opinions will be changed, and that his fears will be proved to have no merit.
