Wow
So, Sonam, Matthew's wife, came into work today and talked my head off about farting, pooping in China, etc etc...but what really fascinated me was the fact that when she escaped to India from Tibet (she was going to be arrested for writing an article against Tianenmen Sqaure/Communism), she sought refuge near the Dalai Lama's Palace. She went there to pray, and the Dalai Lama wanted to speak to her in private. She said she spoke to him 3 times alone in his office, and he gave her a hug and many words of wisdom. He even paid for her passage to America, and he "gave" his own personal interpreter to her so she could learn English before coming over here. I was absolutely in awe. I had to touch Sonam, just because she had been in the presence of "Buddha". What alife that woman has lead. I can't wait to see her again!!!
