I haven't really felt like updating lately, and I really don't feel like it now, but I'm going to anyway.
So the Lost Causes invaded Brunswick, Georgia, this past weekend. Here are some highlights:
-the 10 hour drive wasn't that bad
-Wesley and John quoted movies for 10 hours (at least that's what Justin said...I don't remember much of the trip, which brings us to....)
-I slept most of the day Friday, thanks to Tylenol PM that I took somewhere around Tallahassee
-we stayed on St. Simons Island...it's very nice over there
-the gig Friday night was great (we played at the Bourbon Street Bar and Grill, by the way)
-air guitar girl totally creeped me out
-Wesley and John kept referring to air guitar girl as my girlfriend
-I kept getting mad at Wesley and John for referring to air guitar girl as my girlfriend
-ate at Waffle House after the gig
-"Hello. My name is Todd Younts."
-we went to the beach Saturday...I got sunburnt...especially my feet
-a flock of seagulls flew by and many clods of mud were thrown at the seagulls
-a football was also thrown at the seagulls
-Justin almost hit one with the football
-it made a screaming noise then flew the other way
-we laughed a lot at that
-the Saturday night gig was great also
-thankfully, air guitar girl wasn't there
-I slept late Sunday, then we drove home
I'm sure there's way more that I wanted to mention at some point, but it'll have to wait till later.
Tuesday night, I played music with Madison and Matt at Mugshots in Hattiesburg. Madison's awesome.
Friday night, August 11, the Lost Causes are playing at the Green Room in Hattiesburg. My friends' (Kyle, Heath, and Matt) band, Blackburn, will be playing with us. The show starts around 9...y'all come and bring a bunch of friends.
