I AM NOT A BUM ANYMORE!!!
HOLY CRAP.....I GOT THE JOB AT CASTLE!!
Yeah, I know...everything moved so quickly. They called me on Wed to interview yesterday and by this morning I was hearing rumors that I had gotten the job. Then today around 3:30pm the VP called with the offer...and I accepted. I'm a little ashamed to admit that I dove into this position without as much prep as I usually do. The department chair (health/guidance/PE) is really nice and helpful...she even gave me a textbook to start looking over! Talk about learning on the job!
So it's a full time teaching position. 5 classes and 2 preps (per. 2 and 7). 3 health classes, 1 guidance class and 1 math class. I hear the math class has some difficult kids. Good luck to me.
*sigh* No more being a bum. I can't believe I've only been off of work for 3 weeks and I got another job! Craziness!
