I Have Baby Boogers on My Shirt
I really, really miss New York, even though I was there today, and I'll be there again tomorrow. Being 75% unemployed and "commuting" on babysitting days really makes it lose its sparkle. I don't belong there...and all I want to do is find a goddam job like NOW and move back.
Just as an aside, though, it's raining. The rain seems to bring out people's stupider sides. Or maybe just their small talking bullshit skills. Small talk is stupid anyway, but saying things like "It feels like rain" is the icing on the cake. Now, it can smell like rain, or it can even look like rain, but it doesn't feel like rain til there's actually drops of moisture falling on you from out of the sky! The End.
PS- I'd even settle for a constantly small talking roommate...I just want to be in NYC.
PPS- One day I will own a camp. In Saudi Arabia maybe.
