Art Dump Time!
I was considering putting this off for another couple of days, but I won't have decent (ha.) internet connection until at least Wednesday, so the art dump is coming now :D
(For those who have watched the progress via Tumblr, nothing new, well, that's a lie, there's one or two things I haven't put up there, but you're very much welcomed to come and comment here and send some feedback? :D?)
Oh, by the way... Does anyone on my Flist want to be painted/drawn/used for nefarious artistic purposes? And if so, can I post your picture on the interwebs? OR, do you have anyone/thing that you wanted painted? I need ~inspiration~ or Hailey is either going to murder me or force me to paint Emma Watson forever
I was being a giant pain in Hailey's arse asking Hailey for something to draw, and she gleefully said EMMA WATSON and WINGS! (Or I added the wing part, I can't remember) So it resulted in a Emma Watson Angel. Or something. I'm just really pleased with how the wings turned out to be honest :P
The next couple of art pieces is me on a realism 'paint actual people people' painting trip. It's been fun! And I've sort of missed it :D
This is me! In the obligatory 'dramatic, staring eye of blue!' pose. I think when I took the photo I was fiddling around with light
Mr Tumnus! I mainly painted this because James McAvoy is stalking all the movies I'm watching, and I'm hoping that by painting him either A- he'll stop and go away (what? it worked for someone else) or B- my sudden and inexplicable love fascination with him will fade away. I don't think it's working, mainly because I'm thinking about digging out my copy of book of Chronicles of Narnia, just so I can re-read all the Mr Tumnus scenes. I'm a very very sad person
Bellatrix Lestrange! Why I chose her to draw? Well, I was going to draw Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter, but then I couldn't find a decently sized reference picture, and then I started to look at Red Queen pictures and then I decided, Eh, and grabbed a photo of Bellatrix. It's worked out well I think! Despite the fact that her hair is evil...
Hailey! Again :P I was experimenting with using different colours and stuff. Hailey's face seemed appropriate for some reason :P
Annnnd, that's it for now. I haven't really done that many Project drawings, but, I've got a half a week of being at Dad's with no internet during the day (no Skype! *sadface*) so I might actually get stuff done! :P Cross your fingers yeah?
