All right. I'm getting things back in order, and feeling better in general about...well, everything.
Got a job at a karaoke bar/restaurant with my roommate's sister...It's awesome. I'm serving/cocktail serving and being trained as a bartender tonight! Also, I get paid under the table, which is exactly what I fucking need. Income tax in SF is a bitch, let me tell you. On Sundays I just add up all my hours, and he takes the money out of the drawer for me.
I have an interview today at a brewery. I'm trying to get a second job for during the week. My bar job will cover my bills and living expenses, but I want another one just to save all the money from. An extra 100-150$ a week in the bank will assure that I'm happy, comfy, and not stressed out at all when I move to Portland in August.
Winter officially arrived in San Francisco on Thanksgiving. It's cold as all hell, and rainy. I don't really mind, though. I actually kinda like it. Everything feels cozy, and I'm on a big cooking kick, making minestrone soup from scratch and shit. I'm Susie fucking Homemaker out here, I swear. I like it that way, though...At least there's a good balance between that and partying/drinking my ass off, and I'm not getting too much of either.
Things with Mike are going amazingly. He's the sweetest fucking thing.
Laurel is moving to Oregon tomorrow, and I'm so goddamn proud of her. It's so worth it. Plus, when we move there this summer, I'll have one other person besides Mikey. The only thing I really miss out here is having a girl around once in a while. I'm living with 3 boys and sometimes it's crazy frustrating. But...it definitely could be worse.
