no longer vet student, but vet!
So, I fell off the face of the earth again... but good news! I graduated (almost with honors, even...) and got my license and all my other official registration stuff, and I'm a vet now! Life is really good, I love my job, I get along fabulously with my coworkers, I love the clinic I'm working at... all in all, living the dream. And even getting paid (a little) for it!
I'm not sure what I'll do with this journal now that I'm no longer a student. Part of why I haven't updated recently is that I don't want to comment on my practice, my cases, or my life as a vet, for confidentiality reasons. It may be that I'll make this journal private, so only my (very few) friends on livejournal have access. Or it may be that I stop posting altogether, and just keep in touch with everyone through mass emails. Now that I've graduated it seems the purpose of this journal has been fulfilled, and maybe I should wrap it up here. We'll see.
