I hardly ever post there, since the people are greedy and not helpful at all, but Sofie is sooo into watching movies lately. So I posted a "Wanted" for Disney DVDs, and very politely asked that if someone had children that had outgrown their movies, I'd gladly give them a new home.
A woman responded to my request with this: "Check the library you can check out 10 at a time."
*punches her*
First off, no greeting or signature? To me, that is just trying to be rude. If you sincerely meant to help me, you'd say hello, or sign your name. If you want to be a jerk, write a single sentence reply.
Secondly, duh. How do you think I know my child likes Disney movies in the first place? We've been going to the library for months now, and getting movies every time we go. The problem with getting them from the library is that they only allow a three day loan. Then Sofie falls in love with them, or gets into a bad mood on the day they're due, and we have to renew them. Repeat 2-3 times. Then, when we finally do get to return them, she gets pissed that we don't have that one anymore. I'd rather just own them, thanks very much. Hence the reason I put up a wanted request on freecycle.
In short, thank you dumb woman for making me mad and wasting my time.
PS, I have PMS and am easily irritated today.
