Don't I hold you like you want to be held; And you're running away...

The first snow made me stranded at my apartment for three days which insisted of lots of lots of boredom, sleep, and movies including but not limited to Miracle, Secretary, Harvard Man, Mystic River, Blue Crush, Trains, Planes, and Automobiles(one of my all-time favorites), My Girl, Almost Famous, Along Came Polly, and others that aren't coming to mind...

The snow actually turned into a small blessing. I was scheduled to work on Christmas Eve, which is when we celebrate Christmas in Martinsville with the extended family. I was disappointed thinking I would have to spend the holidays alone. But due to the poor road conditions, my parents had to wait until Christmas day to make the drive to Martinsville. And since Lonestar is closed on Christmas, I was able to go.

I'm sitting in Martinsville right now. Everyone has eaten dinner, opened presents, celebrated my birthday (three days early), and went on their way. Spending time with the little cousins is always my favorite. Taylor, he's 6 and just learning to read, decided to play santa and pass out the presents. He came to one that said, "For: Bonnie". He was sounding out the name and was like, "Bone... boner..." I haven't laughed that hard in ages.

Santa was good to me this year. I got a mini pink ipod and it's my new best friend. I also got loads of clothes, jewelry, books, DVDs, Britney's Curious perfume, a luggage set, victoria's secret gift card, candles, money.. among other things. I can't wait to get back to Evansville, un-bury my car, and go shopping. Post-Christmas is the best time to shop because of all the sales. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. haha.

I miss all my ASA girls. I almost wish break would hurry up and get over with so they come back. I just don't want classes and the stresses to start back up again.

New Year's Eve is almost here. I have to work until 9 or so (hopefully not too much later or I'll be pissed). There better be some fun parties. Kate is DD (designated driver not drunk driver like I tend to be) because she just got a new Accord. I can't wait to see it and cruise around in it with her. She'll be volunteering to drive all the time now. Nice...

Well, it's time for a movie (surprise, surprise). I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Stay safe over the New Year's celebration!
