(no subject)
ahh it's nearly 6 pm but it looks like its ten because it's so dark and rainy. i registered for classes today. all my core classes and times and such are pretty much the same except now i have costuming rather than stagecraft (slavecraft actually) with english and art history thrown into the mix. i tried to sign up for a dance class, but they were all full. i really need some boots.. and socks. tennis shoes/jazz shoes/those shoes i have that are made of cotton basically are not fun to walk around in all day when it is raining (and soon to be snowing) especially when you have no socks. im going to lynchburg sometime wednesday so i plan on checking out what goodwill has to offer. all the thrift stores here are wonderful, but a bit overpriced. so goodwill it is. can i just say - i'm not looking forward to thanksgiving. i'll be having dinner with the birce and possibly the morgans too. but.. i also have to see my real family which sort of sucks. i just may need a sip or two of vodka or something to calm my nerves... as i do not forsee any time spent with them being a good time. BUT>> the birces are amazing. and so are the morgans. so there. OH so... i did some volunteer ushering at the landmark theatre and jesus god.... that theatre is beautiful.. three levels... lots of pretty and fanciness PLUS i got to see the broadway tour of joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat for free. the performance was amazing.. breathtaking even, but... i sort of hate the show itself. dont get me wrong... rainbows, brightness, and sparkles are definately up my ally.. but at times the show was a bit too cheesy for me (i really could've gone without the pharaoh being an elvis impersonator etc etc etc). little shop came by there earlier this year but, i missed it. the lion king and hairspray are coming soon though so i'll volunteer to usher for those because standing around and pretending to help people to their seats in exchange for a free show is okay by me.
