working at naca which is teaching and organizing events (example: coordinating a reading by local authors and other community events),
being a literacy volunteer to a pre-literate ESL student one on one,
organizing a distance learning program (recruiting students, implementing it and monitoring it),
being on the board of directors for naca's adult ed program,
being on the advertising and donations committees for naca's annual "sacred mountain 5 and 10 K run,"
attending random workshops and conferences,
and being very poor at communication.
