(no subject)
Last night didn't turn out as planned.
I had 2 shows to go to. I didn't make either. One was to see a band that I had heard about, but more to see a friend that I made when I was on the road. The other was to see a great band play a bunch of covers in a scary fraternity/sorority bar.
I slept through both shows and all the subsequent calls from my friends wondering where I was.
I'll see Goodnight City next weekend when I go up to Nashville for the Buzzfest, but I don't know when I'm going to get to see my friend again.
I wish I remembered her name! Gosh I'm horrible.
So I'm still tired although I went to sleep last night at 9. Exhausted..I don't know some people (*cough* Car *cough*) can handle this full-time job and going out every night thing. I'm wiped and I only went out one night.
I don't have anything to do today at this job thing as per usual. My supervisor is no where to be found and the one task that she left me on my chair consisted of deleting 3 columns out of an Excel spreadsheet. Yeah..that's a day's worth of work right there!
I'm getting paid far too much for the work that I'm expected to do here..and I'm complaining about it! Someone needs to take a lead pipe upside my head, seriously. I don't know if I can take another 2 and a half months of this, though. I don't know why they hired a temp if they didn't have any work that needed to be done. If they just needed to fill this cubicle, maybe they should've been nice and given one of the permanent workers with tiny cramped cubicles this spacious one with a window view of the dirty Capitol building.
I hear them talking about how they hired someone to fill a Computer Operator I position, yet the person doesn't know how to use a computer. There's something mildly disturbing about this place.
Today on lunch I get to go to the temp agency and pick up a timesheet and a paycheck and maybe grab some lunch if I have the time. No cash, so it'll have to be somewhere that takes credit cards.
Then afterwork it's shower (cuz I'm a dirty girl!) and get dressed for the show tonight. Throw some laundry in before I leave if I have the time and remember and rush out to meet this keyboard player to make sure that I'm on the guest list for the night.
Where is everyone who went to the show last night that I missed?!??! Come on..post on your LJ and let me know what I missed out on!
