Well I finally got a temp assignment. I start on Monday therefore I go clothes shopping tomorrow. Shoot me now.
There is talk of a new car because I will no longer be the bum at home to drive the new college freshman to classes. Interesting proposal until I learn I'm the one to pay for it. Erm..how about no? Or at least not yet.
Still hurts everytime I see your name or look at the website. But things happened exactly as a combination of both what you and I predicted. A shame? Well, yeah. But at least you're not the one left behind missing out on things. Now I have the keys to sort through the remnants of a past life.
I still have presents from the road for people but it seems as though things have changed. I came back to a whole different story and a lack of interest on your part to the only common bond we still shared before I left. That's a shame, too. No hard feelings and the stuff I have to give you is not a parting gift.
