Lately I've been busy as usual. Too busy to update this journal. Especially when our internet only works 15% of the time. We may be forced to return to the clutches of SWB. Ugh. Otherwise things are pretty good, with the exception of an emotionally trying day at work. I have two jobs now. I still work part time at TIRR in the med center and I now have a full time reservations position with Continental Airlines. The latter should be really fun. Not only do my travel companion (Matthew) and myself get to fly for free anywhere in the US and for around 100 dollars internationally, I also get tons of other Big Company perks. So now I have the best of both worlds. I have selfish, materialistic fun perks with Continental and I have emotionally satisfying virtuous perks with my work at TIRR. I have always wanted to travel, hence the 700+ postcard collection. Grad school is still in the works for Fall 2007, and I should be certified to counsel all of you in 3 years or so. I miss Matthew quite a bit when he is gone on tour for so long. I flew out to New York to surprise him last weekend and I was also able to spend time with Tracy, hang out with nice Peelander Z people, and navigate the subway system on my own. I hope to do this more in the future. Other summary sentences include: I may get a scooter soon. (A small one.) I need to start studying for the GRE. I won a free 1 night Doubletree hotel stay for signing up for the Houston Bike Month Challenge. I MAY be able to pay off my car within a year! I think that the new baby giraffe at the zoo recognizes me when I visit.

It’s my mother’s birthday today, and even though she does not read this, Happy Birthday Mom! You are the best Mom in the whole world. Cheesy but true.
