The Day After Christmas...
...and I'm just sitting around the house enjoying the lovely gifts I recieved this year ^.^
Yesterday turned out to be pretty okay, though things were done differently this year than last year. Tina's fmaily decided to open presents first instead of eating dinner THEN opening presents XD
Afterwards, we ate dinner (which rocked, her grandma can really cook ^^) and mostly sat around, enjoying each other's company. Later on, I gave Tina a slight hand in helping clean up (though I stayed out of her way most of it, she didn't like the idea of a guest helping her clean) ^^;
We eventually left her grandparent's house and headed for her house. Whiel I was there I helped her set up her new bookshelf (which explains why my shoulder is a bit sore today, it was a tall bookshelf o_O) Once that was done, we set it up in her room and mostly hung out there until it was time to go.
All in all, it was a pretty good day. It did have its downsides but it dosen't matter, it was Christmas after all ^_^
As for what I recieved this year, here's all that I got:
From Tina and her family:
- A Christmas card
-Some shower gel
- A Beanine Baby (its a super soft blue bear with glitter *_*)
- 10KT gold earings (I needed some new gold earings badly ^^)
- A set of rewritable CDs
- A big white sweater
- A gift bag full of goodies
- A set of Sonic X DVDs (that was from Tina herself XD)
Tina originally had four presents for me, but one of them was lost while we were in the process of opening presents. I tried to get her to tell me what it was but she ain't telling XD
Gifts from family/friends:
- A big Christmas cook book and a blue jean purse (from my brother and his family ^^)
- Gift art from Minit (that I absolutely adore X3)
- Gift poetry from my boyfriend (that I also really love ^^)
I also wanted to get my MP3 player by Christmas, but since I'm waiting to be paid back money Dad oews me, it'll have to wait. Plus Thomas is also sending me two other gifts: a DVD-Rom of goodies and Sonic Riders ^^
Now that Christmas is over, my break is nearly over too. I'll have to return to the college t begin the second semester Jan 8...sort of.
As I told you, my grades wern't exactly promising and its possible I could be put on achedemic probation because of it. Though, don't take it as something bad yet, this is actually a good thing.
See, my aunt has been trying to get me a job working as a secretary at her place of work. If I'm on achedemic probation, then she'll for sure be able to get me a job at her work in January, if not them I'll go back to college and take my classes. Basically its a win/win situation for me ^^;
