As Bill Maher said on The Rachel Maddow Show, if conservatives were to admit that Sarah Palin is not ready for the position as vice president they would be "putting country first."

I do not think she isn't ready because of her so-called abilities, or because of the ignorant gossip and irrelevant issues that keep coming up about her. I think she isn't ready because she has only made ONE interview that was unscripted, and the scripted interviews were not written by her.

She is not as knowledgeable as she needs to be on issues that are problems for this country, either that or the campaign isn't letting her vocalize her knowledge. She is LESS experienced than Obama, although she is experienced in ways he is not. The important part of it is--this woman, if elected, could truly become our next president. She may be a good woman and a good, loving mother--but how does that fix the economic issues that are beginning to haunt our country?

I also think it's interesting that she has approved, and made, millions of dollars in ear marks in Alaska, and McCain has STRONGLY remarked that he is utterly against them and he will continue to veto them if in office.

I'm not saying I'm Ms. Obama, because there are aspects of his campaign that I strongly disapprove of. It's just there are so many slippery slopes in the republican campaign, and can you disagree?
