LAST NIGHT ROCKED!!!!! yay for going to shows on weeknights and then having the wonderfulness of having a 2 hour delay which was not expected @ all. i probably would have slept in, coming in period 3 or so, bc i had all these tests planned and i would have failed. today i only had a timed writing which sucked but i just turned on the BS and got through it:), although i failed my ap econ hw check but i always fail those and so does everyone else in the class so i could really care less. i had 3 tests scheduled today but they were canceled due to lack of time...sweet. anyways back to talking about last night...
pat came @ 6:30 and we went to the mall so he could eat and then scott met us there and we sat for a little bit and then went to stand in line @ the recher and it was cold as $#@&!!! after 5 minutes or so we were numb and then will, jimmy and josh came and met up w/ us in line. they were kinda slow getting us in but w/e it was worth it and then we saw dan and friends and lots of other people i know. Jamisonparker was 1st which was kinda weird bc i thought Days Away would be but w/e. they didn't really have many lights on for their set and they kept flashing this really annoying blinding yellow light so we couldn't see anything and i couldn't get many good pics of jamison and his awesome hair:( lol. oh well, summer got some bc she was being pushed against the wall! they were alright though. i love them even though they seemed to have some technical problems. then Days Away came on and they were alright and there was this creepy guy on guitar w/ the biggest afro i have ever seen on a white guy tied w/ the guy from the matches(whos really sketchy). he seemed really, really stoned and just kept swaying back and forth haha. it was so funny. they were kinda stoner-ish and all their songs seemed to blend together so it got old after 10 min or so. then Further Seems Forever came on and the lead singer is really old and ugly and it was quite a disappointment for summer and i to say the least. i only wasted 1 picture on him. they were kinda weird sounding and they played stuff from the 1st album, but no one compares to the perfection of chris carraba:) i think fsf's last song was the best part and then when they got off stage...sorry. lol. finally THE STARTING LINE came on and i was very happy bc STL is awesome and kenny is the greatest. i'm glad they played the good stuff early, like 'best of me', because i had to leave @ 11:15 bc i wasn't feelin too hot and my dad is crazy strict lately. it kinda sucks. why can't the good people play on weekends so i can stay out forever! ARGH! i left after 'left coast envy'(which was great if i must say) and saw some sketchy kids outside who were making weird gestures and noises at me so i ran to the curb and jumped in dad's car as soon as i saw him pull up. lol. then i went to bed w/ my squishy pillow and my squishy fat kitty, and woke up to the wonderful ring of 'baltimore county: 2 hour delay' in my head:) hmm well a great time was had by all and i can't wait to see STL again! now i'm off to work 5:30-8 and then tea party @ gina's and 3 day weekend!!! later! ps...hope you all got into College Park!
