spackling, and painting...what a work out haha
today was really really tiring...
i woke up and the rents were off from work so i was like wth the house isn't quiet in the morning as usual and then i dilly-dalleyed around for about 2 hours and called ton and sarah and we went to home depot around 12:30ish to get paint,ceiling paint, and spackle for the living room of the whitehouse(those of you who aren't familiar w/ the whitehouse ...we're talking about the one on my churches property on the top of the hill where "the four handsome boys" as sarah refers to them lol>ben,eric,ben and dan,a.k.a. 'the twins', live in the apartment on the 2nd floor). anyways, we got back and ton went to go get food and left sarah and i to get to work so we started taping the trim, only to realize we had to spackle and sand it so we had to take it off...grr...and in the meantime strange guys were walking in the house w/ vacuums and whatnot and were not very friendly sorts bc when we said hello they just looked at us. they must have only vacuumed for about 10 minutes(fastest vacuuming job i have ever seen). then we started spackling and getting all messy which was fun and then ton came back and took my place so i could start painting the ceiling. we did that for about 4 hours and then took sarah to work and ton and i showered and met back at the whitehouse later w/ jen to go to lauras house for the jewelry thing. being in the car w/ jen during traffic hours is so much fun lol bc she honks at 'sexy' old men for ton haha and they wave back and it's odd but funny @ the same time lol and then we try to get trucks to honk @ us but they always have little kids w/ them so they never pay attention to us...what's up w/ that? lol and then jen called mix 106.5 to get the traffic report bc traffic was really 'fugly' haha but they didn't know what was going on, so she had a conversation w/ the person about when stacy was going to have her baby bc we want her back on the morning show lol.(they asked if they could put her on the radio but she declined bc she's been on so many times) ahh i love jen and tonya they're just so much fun bc there's always a story to tell when you're w/ them:)
i got home i guess around 10:30 and still hadn't had dinner and noone was home so the only thing to make was a hotdog but w/e @ least i had food. sorry i can't talk to people late tonight bc i have to go to bed early since i'm visiting university of delaware and have to get up @ 7(not too excited about that part but it should be a good day...i'll let ya know what happens;)
btw: i'm so happy i got my 'i'll be' mix back... i was in withdrawl bc i hadn't listened to that song in so long but i finally got it back from erin so it's all good now...just thought i'd add that little tidbit in for kicks;)
