thanksgiving
hey all
so for a recap of a great break...i went home tuesday night and chilled in my house alone for about 2 hours. It was the best 2 hours ever!!! I never have the chance really to be alone at college and so sometimes it's nice to just have a time where you can just sit and veg out. I fell asleep and no one knew I was home until about 10pm because my computer was on and my bro happened to see the light from it.
Wednesday was an okay day except for the fact that my car broke down. I was not happy. :( Anywho...I went to the bank and thank god it didnt die in the middle of route 125....
Thursday was thanksgiving and it went as all of my thanksgivings do. Releatives showing up at about 12 and this is always the fun part because half of my relatives cant walk well on there own so I had to help them in. Then there is the "oh im going to give you a kiss and leave a lovely lipstick mark on your cheek" time....yeah this still happens to me. On the up and up I had a really good time with all of them and I got some money for my birthday! On friday I had to work from 9 to 2....not too bad. After that I went to wal-mart at about 5 and then home for a bit. Then, Shawna and I were supposed to go to the mall but we ended up at Wal-mart...again and had fun smelling the perfumes. I swear they should put a hazzard do not sniff sign on some of them.
On saturday I worked from 1 to 11 and it was the longest day ever...i have to say thatit was fun though. I closed with Ferris which meant us just standing around talking from 8 on because we had no customers. It was a lot of fun which is hard to believe.
On sunday I began my birthday by being woken up to my dad singing to us at 9am...not something I wanted to wake up to because he sounds like a dying moose but anyways....we all went out to breakfast and had more family stop by. It was a pretty laid back birthday but I am getting to that age where birthdays aren't that big a deal. Just a number...that is until I turn 21....the next big one. :)I got a few presents and money which I can always use and cake....of course. Overall a great day!
Then at about 8 i packed up my stuff and came back to the room. I was glad to be back. I love my family but they were starting to get on my nerves a bit. I wonder what will happen over my one month x-mas break....hmmm
