Wow! What a coincidence! I got this e-mail just yesterday, and I printed it out, such an impression it left on me. There must be just seven degrees seperation between us or something, for that to happen.
ITA. It's a powerful piece. Really puts things in perspective.
I enjoyed reading that, but the idea of God knowing I'm here is not enough for me. I am an invisible person right now...I'm feeling like I deserve not to be invisible. Society makes us invisible because Moms are so undervalued, even when you're a really good mom. As far as I know, I get this one life. I can't believe that I am here just to make other people look good. I don't think women fought for equal rights to be seen and not heard. Or for only some of us to be seen and heard and some to be invisible. I don't care if people notice every little thing I do. But I am tired of nobody noticing me at all.
