We all ask ourselves this same question at least once a day: Why do I do this? The answer: I don't have one. If I did, life would be a whole lot easier. I find myself constantly asking myself: "What's the point, if my bosses think I'm an idiot anyways?" or "Why am I wasting my time writing something that no one is ever going to read?" or my favorite "Is it really worth all I'm sacrificing?". I guess my point is that we all have moments like this, where we just want to throw our hands up in defeat and say "I'm done!" but instead of giving in tiredly, we should go up to someone who cares and supports us, get a big hug and a "You can do it" or "Something good will come from this, if you just keep pushing a little more". Or, if that doesn't suit you, maybe go crawl into bed, cry yourself into a nap and then start on it refreshed (it does work, I speak from experience). Bottom line: Don't try to do it all at once and give yourself a break. If life was easy, there would be no memorable moments.
