Dream House
Freewrite Prompt - Describe your dream house. Make it as simple or as creative as you want. Give me all the details you can in three minutes.
My dream house would be a two-story house with a functional basement, with three bedrooms on the top floor, one on the first floor, and a guest room in the basement. The entire house is set up with wireless, so that anyone with my access information can come in and use it at their leisure. Each floor would also have a fully functional bathroom, shower and all. In addition, the entire house would be powered by enough solar energy panels and batteries to run it for at least a month without auxiliary power.
The basement has a HDTV with all the game systems hooked up, plus a pool table and a minifridge, as well as the washer and dryer. I would have a setup that lets me drop clothes downstairs through a chute, then a pulley or automatic lift system that lifts them back to the floor they need to go to.
The main floor would have a full kitchen for my fiance, with an electric range, deep freezer, fridge, large pantry, and bar that splits it from the dining room. The dining room can seat up to 10 people around the table, although usually only one end of it is being used. The main floor also has a living room with another HDTV and a den. The den would be full of all the books you can imagine, and the living room's furniture could all be pushed back against the wall to make room for at least three people to do yoga at the same time.
On the top floor is the master bedroom, which opens onto a balcony that is wide enough for two people to move around comfortably. The king-size bed is a canopy bed... for alternate purposes. One of the bedrooms is converted into an office/workroom for me, while the other is dedicated to my fiance's personal space.
