Good Friends and Family
I'm in Eugene again. Back in classes... after a great break! It was my good friends and family break althoug i really spent most of my time with my good friends. I'm so happy that i got to see everyone. I feel like i havent had an opportunity to reconnect with these people since my winter break freshman year. It's not that i had forgotten how wonderful my friends are it's just that i really had not spent much time with them in years. I missed you guys. I got to see everyone but Katie. I spent the most time with Caitlin, Whitney and Elizabeth. Was happy to get to hang out with Evan who i had not hung out with since sophmore year and i think i had forgoten how well we got along. I think becuase things ended on not the best terms i had forgoten why we dated for two years. Its nice to be able to look back on a relationship and remember the good times and not the bad. Is it bad to shut out the bad memories? especally if they really were not that bad? All life experiences.
So what did I spend my time doing over break? I'm not so sure. I know i was happy and busy. I didn't even take time to read or watch movies. I think we went out most nights, were hung over in the morning and went to coffee and started our day over again. I went ice skating once, sledding once, and skiing twice. I wish i would have gone ice skating more. i wish i was still there. I'm not unhappy here. I just wanted more time in the big AK.
Going out. I had never been to the bars with Caitlin, Elizabeth, Ingrid, Tessa, or Evan. We ran into lots of fun kids from high school... We made Paxson go out with us one night and scared him to death AGAIN. I don't even think we showed him our bra's... but maybe talked about them. I ran into Kerry Tasker several times. It was great to catch up with him. I was able to tell him about my plan for a cove kids reunion where we all spend all winter in the cove... I'm pretty sure he has already forgotten. I went to my first First Tap! It was great fun. Caitlin and I took our siblings, Connor and Brooke. We drank the new beer, and some others... We danced. I had a dance off with Jason, some kids who went to Chugach with me. Adam and Vern were there and dancing. Sammy and Joe were there and dancing. It was a very fun night.
New Years. One of the best yet. It was suppose to be a girls night at my house, but of course there were boys. Just Adam, Vern and Craig. That gave the night a different atmosphere than the original girls night but caitlin, whitney, elizabeth and i still acted as crazy as ever. we each had a 40 of MGD! What a way to bring in the new year! We ventured out to Elizabeths cousins house to play a round of drinking Jinga, and a snow fight on the way home. I got tackeled by Vern and cailtin, excpet when cailing tackeled me i landed on top and was sure i had killed her. That part of the nigh reminded me of Ben Crawford walking me home in High School... oh first kisses. I saw him at Humpys also.
In conclusion I drank a lot of beer and coffee with my best friends.
