Borat comes out tomorrow. 288 copies. It took me almost the whole shift today to get prepped but I feel completely ready. Come 6 am tomorrow all I will have to do is throw the movies out. I even made space on the DVD wall for tomorrow's new releases. It's going to be an insane hour from 6-7, but I'm going to love it.
Work is progressing well. James has been given the morning freight position, and is already thriving in it. That's left us with an opening for closing PIC. So far, the only person interested in the position has been Jeff Hill from AB. I've wanted to steal him from AB since back to college night.
What else? I've had thoughts floating in my head but they're not making themsleves into words. Things at the homefront are progressing nicely as well. It looks like we're going to buy Jenn's van. '94 Plymouth Voyager with 130,000 or so miles for $1,500. Kelley Blue Book is right around the same number, and I'm pretty comfortable with it. We're looking for hotel rooms for Friday the 23rd. By then my taxes should have come in, and with any luck my Sirva as well. In all I'm looking at just under $900 coming to me, which will bring us up to about $2,900. Subtract the car money, and it'll be about $1,400 in savings left. Awesome.
And it sounds like my dad will be picking up the car on or around the 27th. So the timing will be just right, if things continue on the same track as they're headed now.
