I get my kicks above the wasteline, Sunshine
Busy last couple of days. I got my taxes done yesterday. I'm getting just under $200 back total.. not bad considering that I had a strong suspicion that I'd wind up owing several hundred dollars. In addition to taxes, I got plenty of picking up around the house, most notably the bathroom counter, dining table, and my desk (kind of). The CDs are still a mess, but I no longer have such a ridiculous amount of paperwork cluttering my desk.
Work today went very well. I had Heather work EAS while I worked freight. By the time I went home, the whole dept. had been EAS audited and the freight was almost done. On top of that, I got a lot of callbacks that had been previously pulled scanned out. Probably four or so more callbacks tomorrow. Not bad. 12 Wiis. And after I'd sold the last one I got word that there'd been a call-around: hold Wii hardware for tomorrow's ad. So Courtney asked me to try a call around of my own on local stores to try to acquire at least one Wii for tomorrow. And you know, it worked. lol. North Salem is going to give us one for tomorrow morning. Hmm. That really was all the excitement from today. It was just a good day, one of those where I felt in control of the whole dept. Love that type of day! :)
