I'm sick of winter, and winter coats.

Spring will not be arriving anytime soon but, in an attempt to lift my spirits, I have started to shed the winter season from my mind and body. I have entered stage 1: Rehydration. I'm drinking more water and I'm using fancy store products for my skin. I bought some expensive shampoo and St. Ives cream earlier this week. No complaints with the cream, but the shampoo is so smelly that I can't even touch my head without my hands stinking. If I don't get used to the smell I may have to choose between healthy scalp and hair or fresh air.

Reading week is seven days away! I can't stay at home for the entire break because I have an Honours paper to start and finish by the 28th, but if everything goes well I'll be there for about 2 weekends. In the seven days leading to freedom I have to finish my Ancient Civ. paper and present a close reading of the Jazz scene in Stella Bowen's Drawn From Life. Suprisingly, I'm not freaking out about any of it. My family is visiting tomorrow, and by family I mean my parents, my four cousins, and my Godson- I've been told to expect a suprise!
