I had a very needle-y week end : I did knitting, and sewing, and now I have new clothes !
First,
I finished a knitted sweater I've started several years ago. At that time, I knit half of it, and never found time to finish it. I took it back a few weeks ago, finished it quite quickly, and my mother helped me sewing all the pieces together.
Next thing I'm knitting is a cropped jacket with short sleeves, for my sister !
And then,
I wanted to try sewing something a little harder than pillow. I found this skirt pattern, which looked very easy, and asked my mother for her time to teach me how to use her machine and all the sewing theory. The hardest part was the zipper, the other parts were fairly easy.
Shoes aren't mine, unfortunately. I have a classy black top that I plan to wear with that skirt. It was fun to do, and the cost of the fabric was something like 9€ (zipper included)
