Well, back to work after the luxury of holiday closings :) Well, for some us anyway... There have been a bunch of people called off sick, including our part-time lab guy, which meant those of us who showed up have been doing extra coverage. (In the last 4 days I was scheduled to work fewer than 8 out of 30 hours in the lab, but it's been more than 20 out of 30. Bit of a change there, oh well.) We got our official E-Rate certification, which means the State Library of Ohio approved my Technology Plan with 5-out-of-5 approval, whooooo!
So far progress on anti-resolutions is going well. I got a shirt cut out (dark green with a camel-colored floral design, 3/4 sleeves, new scissors of luuuuuuurve, must write Grandmother-in-law a heartfelt thank you) and halfway assembled after work last night, and have been daydreaming about what's next on my "to-sew" list. Dishes done and the house reasonably tidy before bed the last few nights running. Jason and I had a conversation about our hopes for financial improvements this year, then disbanded to create individual ideas about spending plans, to be compared and consolidated at a future date.
Weekend plans are pretty mundane, which is a nice change from the last few weeks. Saturday: housecleaning, taking Jason's truck for an oil change. Sunday: Jason's out with the brew boys, meaning I'll probably hole up in my sewing room. Oh! He won/got tickets for the Cavs game tonight, so we're headed downtown after work. I know nothing about basketball, but it should be a nice date-night nonetheless :)
