Hi LiveJournal, let's talk.
So I started at Mills and so far so AMAZING. The girls there are super smart and blow my mind half the time, and the teachers are grade A (although I always got lucky at DVC) and I just ugh. I am not looking forward to my senior thesis but I CAN DO IT. I just feel so little there! And coming in Spring is weird because everyone made friends in the Fall, so I am like "uh hi". The drive to campus is awful but I am married so living on campus is out of the question and living in Oakland is also not my favorite idea. Gonna try and move that way anyway, as if I don't I may die. Gotta see if Mike gets this Oakland Teaching Fellows thing first. He has an interview in mid February. Cross your fingers, he deserves something awesome.
I have proven to become a rainbow head over the last few months. I can't stop dying my hair whatever color I can find and like at the moment. Right now it is orange.
You guys, I have totally awesome and talented friends. My bud Blake who is on my improv troupe had an audition a few days ago for an HBO movie starring Nicole Kidman and he'd have a scene with her and shizz and WHAT. It's a period piece so it will obvy get nominated for a Golden Globe or something MAYBE HE'D GO WHAT. And my friend Leslie just got an agent (who is the same agent for Blake mentioned above) and it's just so crazy! All that's next is for Mike to get a screenwriting agent. Oh and he's been writing and hearing him talk about it is so beautiful, he is a passionate man.
I fucking love school but I hate the time it takes away from reading books for pleasure. On Half-Blood Prince now and it's like MY FAVORITE HP BOOK and I just don't have the time to read it.
SNL was funny tonight. Wanna be on it why.
