Is it weird that I get excited when something happens in real life and I think, "Wow, that response was just like something out of a satirical novel or a witty screenplay"

As opposed to...

reading something in a satirical novel or hearing something in a witty screen play and thinking "Wow, that was like real life."

Is that weird?
