LET ME JUST GET THIS OUT OF THE WAY: TAMAKI WAS, IS, AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE NOTHING BUT HOT AND AWESOME STUPID
I'D WANT HIM AS MY KING I'M JUST SAYIN
-- In addition, and before I forget, I really really love how batshit insane he is at times, and then how he can just flip around and TOTALLY comprehend the deeper part of the situation going on around him. And I love how Haruhi shares this quality-- that they both can read people so well and help to bring them both to an understanding. (I really fell in love with this aspect of them in episode 12, with Honey and Mori and the cavities thing. Just. ♥)
So, from that, you can correctly assume that I am in all sorts of LOVE!!! with Tamaki/Haruhi. There are some other vague interests as far as pairings go with Haruhi involved (like Hikaru/Haruhi and Mori/Haruhi), but this is totally my OTP. (OFF TOPIC BUT I AM REMINDED-- I kinda miss that Top 20 OTP's meme that was going around.)
Hikaru and Kaoru.. kinda really turned me off at first, because I could just SEE the legions of twincest fangirls in my head foaming. But then they were all "let's tease our Lord Tamaki to NO END with enticing ideas of Haruhi in skimpy bathing suits and pretty frilly girly things" and I was all LOOVVEE!! x 2 (x 2 BECAUSE I WAS MAKIN A FUNNY AND IT WAS LAME OKAY) And just. Seriously. Who doesn't like twins?! (Despite all my griping I do secretly hope the twin births pattern of skip one generation in BOTH my mother's and father's families will be true for me and I will have twin boys or a boy and girl COMBO DEAL, wut.)
And Honey and Mori and OMG. Mori is. Just so. PLAIN. AND I LOVE HIM FOR IT. I mean, he has his very intriguing points, but I have never ever seen a character be purposefully made THAT quiet and THAT calm, and for the creator(s) to have the freaking balls to do that just makes me love Mori so much.
SO I REALLY HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO SAY THAT ISN'T ME SCREAMING IN JOY AT TAMAKI/HARUHI BECAUSE OF EP 8, OTHER THAN:
Haruhi's dad? Yeah I got a crush on him/her/it, too.
Also, I need to find the manga.
P.S. ... Do you ever watch a bunch of subbed anime and then when you turn it off, for a little while your regular television sounds like they're all speaking Japanese? Or I am the only freak of nature?
P.P.S. I just realized this: I think I also really like Haruhi because, in all seriousness, I tend to act the same way she does around my friends when I'm at school. Okay okay-- on here, and with mr_female, I am TOTALLY a Tamaki! But at school I'm just sort of.. "study study study YOU GUYS ARE FREAKS study study unf get off hey WHAT ARE YOU DOING (panic! study!)." And I really really like to do the whole character analysis thing that she does in my head. I love to meet new people and read them (like a book! i am so punny, guys, right). Seriously, I would take a class called "Character Study" if there was one at my school.
