(Oh, hey, no problem - if I'm helping you waste time, then I'll consider it time well spent ;) Actually, this chat is enjoyable to the point that I've been contemplating friending you; I always ask first, though.)
Hee! The more the merrier. If my level of perviness doesn't scare you off. :)
Sylar was supposed to be Gay? Really! That would explain some of the definite vestigial traces, then.
Like I said, I cannot find first-source confirmation for this, but... well, it just kinda makes a LOT of sense.
And he and Sendhil do have some of the most amazing chemistry I've ever seen between two male actors on TV.
Preach it!
Still, it's never a mere hotness factor that will hook me; it's usually the pairings with high emotional content, and that's definitely H/A in my book.
I try so hard not to be superficial! I'm that way with my het OTPs, really, and normally with the slashy ones, but but but there are times where I just have to throw my hands up in the air and go "Dammit, they're just too hot for me!" At least they have screen time together and interact and stuff. That becomes my last requirement, y'know? "Do they talk to each other on several occasions? Yes? All right, fine, I give up!"
I think I heard rumors somewhere that there may be planned love-interests for them in S2. I suppose I have a few mixed feelings on this,
I already do! I'd really like to see them carry on with just being Hiro-and-Ando for a while, particularly now that Hiro's in the 17th century and Ando's in the present and they're both ALONE.
although in the case of Charlie I definitely do think it was passing infatuation and Hiro really, desperately wanting to do something good (as usual).
And, well, speaking as someone as hopelessly geeky as Hiro, the fact that she took some interest in him must have played some small part in that. But that's just me projecting. (Seriously, if I was anyone on that show, I'd be Hiro.)
They were adorable together, I have to agree - but I can't picture anyone more adorable with Hiro than Ando.
I wouldn't call Sylar/Mohinder shallow, though - they actually have a lot of interaction in addition to being hot, so I can see why people can produce S/M work with substance. They're just...not quite my bag, and, as I said, Sylar makes me mad more than half the time.
Yeah - the two of them being parted makes for bad circumstances, under which the screenwriter(s) might be tempted to toss in love-interests fairly quickly. Then again, if they can have Ando waiting so patiently at that diner...
I knew what I thought about Sylar from pretty early on, although my opinion on Peter varies from day to day, nearly, I kid you not. Sometimes I catch myself feeling quite fond of him, and other times, I'm just sort of thinking, okay, get off the screen, Emo-Boy, so I can get back to watching Hiro and Ando.
Yes, precedence. I'm assuming they will go with it, as having Hiro put that sword in his hands with such a weighty promise is not something to go back on, not if they collectively have half a brain left (what with Sylar still on the loose).

( \o/ Whee! That's always a plus, of course. I enjoy perviness. )

This reassures me MUCHLY.
Sylar makes me mad more than half the time.
I think it's funny how it's like the fandom is just dead split on the issue of whether or not they like Sylar. Same with Peter.
Then again, if they can have Ando waiting so patiently at that diner...
Exactly! There's a ... what's the word I'm looking for? Precedence? They need to stick with that! :D
