controversy & love

so i went to dunbar this weekend. it's a small fishing village about 45 minutes from edinburgh. it was totally awesome. first of all, kirsten's flat (kirsten in my flatmate by the way) anyway, kirsten't flat is right on the north sea. totally rad. her mom had a wonderful dinner waiting for us when we got there at around half ten. mmm....chicken & mushrooms in a creamy white wine sauce with rice. then on saturday we went shopping in edinburgh for valentine's day. edinburgh is an amazingly beautiful city! the buildings! omg! then we went home and started getting ready and started drink round 7. we went to the eagle a local pub. it was really cute. everyone pretty much knows everyone else. then we went to goldstone's because they were having a valentine's shindig. we danced the night away & drank waaaay too much. but we had a great time. we ended up back at cam's house where i talked to this guy grant for three hours and then went to sleep. oh yeah, i talked to wayne like 8,000 times during the night and used £10 of cell phone credit. he got in a fight with this total knob we know. enh, it happens. then we went home on sunday. we missed our bus by two mintues, so we took a train from edinburgh to dundee and a bus from dundee to aberdeen. when i got home wayne & i hung out & watched 'love, actually' and then went to bed. then there is valentine's day. wayne got me the cutest bear EVER from bear factory which is just like build-a-bear, and took me out to dinner & to see 'ocean's 12.' it was pretty good, but the first one was better. then we went to espionage for a drink. i like espionage because it's free in and usually plays pretty good music. a few good songs last night, but the guy dressed as cupid made it worth it, even if he did work for the club. what a great night! :)

ps: i passed all my classes! yay!
