My grandmother went to the hospital on Saturday for her observation of her seizers. Everything went well on the weekend. She had a really big one on the Monday and was so scared that we had to run over to the hospital right away. Yesterday I spent the whole day at the hospital, because my grandmother had these tests she needed to do. And I needed to be there for the translation. So, from 8:30 until 3:15 I was at the hospital with my grandmother. She had another seizer shortly after her lunch, and for the rest of the day she was tired and scared. Since my grandmother is hooked up to this machine, it has recorded the seizers she’s had. The doctor’s say that the seizer come from the left side of her brain. Usually in this case they remove a part of the brain that has the seizers, but since my grandmother has other problems the doctors are thinking of leaving her on the medication that she is on and giving her something else as well. I am VERY happy that she does not have to have surgery. I am so thankful to God that he listened to my prayer. They still haven’t ruled surgery out, but I hope they do, because my grandmother cannot go through another surgery. She won’t make it. I know she won’t.
