its crazy that after 90 something years a man's legacy can live on so much. Cooper Dawson died thursday... he ran a camp i go to and have gone to for 10 years! he ran the camp when my mom attended as a child and he was still there and very much in charge when i attended for my first few years. its insane to think of how many people this man knew and how many lives he changed. he offered kids a place to call "home" in the summer with no peer preassure, rules, and a carefree enviornment that was fun for everyone. i cant believe after all my life knowing his name and hearing his "crow call" on the PA everyday during the summer months it has all ended. death. i dont like it. it sounds dumb and obivious and cliche' but it always catches me off guard. :(
