(no subject)
Well, I just did a huge ramble into Stylophiles journal, and I thought it was about time that I did one in here, just to let anyone who is still around that I haven't disapeared off the face of the earth. I AM STILL HERE.
Whats been happening? Well, Real Life. I've been back and forward from Peru, to New York, to England, to Switzerland, to England, to Australia, to England, to France, and back to Australia, all in the last 6 months. Its been amazing, and I'm kinda wishing I was back in England right now, I've got this homesickness thing. Well, its kinda hard, cause when I'm in England I want to be in Aus, and when I'm in Aus I want to be in England. I just have to learn to be happy with where I am at the moment. Its one of the down parts of being half Aussie/English!
On the upside, I've managed to spend heaps of time with friends in the UK, and had a ball while doing it. Me and my family went skiing over Christmas, which was a blissful week, (helped along by having 2 gorgeus guys as our chalet hosts ;-), and great snow). Unfortunatly, now I'm back in Australia, though its great to be here with my friends, the work load has increased by about 100%. I'm spending 5 hours a day studying and doing my assignments, up in the morning at 6am for walk on beach, and then work again for another 6 hours. Its getting me down! The weather doesn't help (does it ever?) by being boiling hot, and you have no idea of the relief that the official end of summer has brought, cause it has for once brought the temperatures down. Yay!
On the side of fandom, I am definatly still around reading. I haven't really discovered anymore new stories, though I do check painless_j's livejournal everynow and then for recomendations. I don't have as much time as I did to spend reading, but I need the release brought by reading a good story. I am still following all my old friends journals and stories, and am very excited by the posting of the sequel to "Left My Heart" yesterday (I think) and my friend stylophile's new story "The Human Abstract".
Anyway, thats what been happening to me, a lot! I hope everyone in the fandom world is still well and alive, and happy! Let me know what you've been up to if your still around, and I'll try to get to all your journals and post a bit more than before. Much love to you all...
