You Make It Real
“Thanks, Uchi.”
“No problem.”
Kazuya laughs when Uchi blows him an air kiss. As he walks away, he hears Uchi shuffling as the car engine softly hums. He knows Uchi is stretching out, hoping to relax for a few minutes in the small cramped space. He soon forgets about Uchi when he sees him. Jin is standing a few meters away, barely illuminated by dim lights of the underground parking lot, a duffel bag by his feet.
Kazuya smiles and walks towards him. “Hi.”
Jin isn't smiling and he arches a brow. “I saw that.”
Kazuya's brows furrow. “Saw what?” Jin narrows his eyes and nods toward Uchi's parked car. Kazuya snorts a chuckle and he steps forward until he is so close to Jin their jackets flap against each other. He cocks his head and bites the side of his lower lip.
Jin skews his mouth then he leans forward and kisses Kazuya who immediately grunts and Jin draws away.
“You didn't shave,” Kazuya says, running a thumb along Jin's stubbly jaw.
“Didn't have time,” Jin replies. “Would you rather an air kiss?”
Kazuya knows he will have horrible whisker burns but what does that matter compared to having Jin's strong yet supple lips on his. He smiles and shakes his head.
Jin takes Kazuya's jacket collar and pulls the younger man towards him. He kisses him - soft and lingering. Kazuya pulls gently away, dragging a little of Jin's lower lip. He rests his head against Jin's shoulder and he sighs.
Jin takes both Kazuya's hands in each of his. “Your hands are cold,” he says and slips their hands inside his jacket pockets.
They stood leaning against each other for a while, feeling each other's heartbeats despite the layers of clothes. “Your heart's beating fast,” Kazuya says against the side of Jin's neck.
“That's 'cause I'm scared shitless.”
Kazuya laughs then pecks the underside of Jin's jaw. “It's gonna be great.”
Jin grunts. “They don't speak Nihonggo.”
“You speak English.”
“They don't have rice balls.”
“You like hamburgers.”
“They'll hate me.”
“I... ” Kazuya stammers and he squeezes his eyes shut. “I...” He takes a deep breath to still his rapidly beating heart. He opens his mouth again but the words don't make it past his lips.
For the next few seconds, Jin is silent, unmoving. Then he squeezes Kazuyas hands. “I know,” he says then envelopes Kazuya in his arms.
Kazuya presses himself further into the embrace, wanting to stay that way forever, wanting to melt into Jin. “You'll miss your flight,” he says and he doesn't know where the calm is coming from because there is only unrest inside him.
Jin draws away from the embrace and cups Kazuya's face with both his hands. “I'll miss you.” And they kiss again.
Love isn't everything, Kazuya thinks. But he feels it - Jin's scent, the warmth of Jin's hands on his face, the contour of Jin's lips on his. He feels it and it's real and it's good. And Jin is his.
Kazuya says the words against Jin's lips. Finally.
The End
A/N: Thinking about it, the song should be Jin's song:
Everybody's talking in words
I don’t understand
You've got to be the only one
Who knows just who I am
You're shining in the distance
I hope I can make it through
'Cause the only place
That I want to be
Is right back home with you
[P.S. I hope the song doesn't annoy you :)]
