Kiss Kame
The boys were bored. They were free for the night but they could not go out. It was raining heavily and they were all too tired anyway. Thus, all six of them were lounging about.
Kamenashi Kazuya was half reclining on a cushioned armchair, his head resting on the armrest, his legs dangling on the other armrest as he read a script. Akanishi Jin plopped himself on the couch, grabbed Junnosuke Taguchi's PSP and started playing with it.
"Hey, I got an idea!" Koki Tanaka suddenly exclaimed. Yuichi Nakamaru and Tatsuya Ueda, both seated together around a dining table, looked at Koki expectantly albeit warily. Koki grinned, his eyes gleaming, and said, "Let's play Kiss Kame!"
In unison, Jin and Kazuya's heads snapped up and looked at Koki. At the same time the two boys asked, "What?"
Koki pulled a deck of cards from his pocket. "Let's play Kiss Kame," he repeated.
"What's Kiss Kame?" asked Junno who was sitting helplessly as Jin played with the PSP.
"Well, it's any game - poker, billiards, darts, even jan-ken-poi," Koki explained, "As long as the winner gets to kiss Kame."
"There is no such game!" Kazuya exclaimed.
"There is now," Koki said
Jin snorted and went back to playing his video game. "You just want an excuse to kiss Kazuya."
"Of course," Koki said, matter-of-fact, and started shuffling the cards. "Alright, let's play poker. Who's in?"
Junno stood up and said, "Hmmm?I think I like to kiss Kazuya. I'm in." He joined the others by the round table.
Kazuya could not get back to reading his script. "Okay, stop it. Nobody's kissing me?" he protested.
Maru drew his chair closer to the table. "Winning over scum band mates then kissing Kazuya?.what better way to spend a rainy night!"
"I said no one's kissing me?" Kazuya said again but he was being ignored.
"Are you in, Tat-chan?" Koki asked.
Kazuya looked hopefully at the other femboy in their band but his hopes were dashed when Ueda said, "Sure. I like winning and kissing Kazuya wouldn't be so bad, 'ne?"
"I said nobody's kissing me!" Kazuya insisted much louder, annoyed that he was being picked on again.
"Jin, are you in?" Maru asked Jin still sitting on the couch and forehead creased, apparently too engrossed in his video game.
"No way," Jin said. "I don't wanna kiss Kazuya. I'd rather kiss a live chicken." He quickly stole a glance at the boy beside him before returning his attention to his game.
The other boys looked at each other and smiled. "As if you would win?" Koki muttered. "Okay, I'm dealing!"
Jin looked up and saw Kazuya glaring at him. "What? You're not protesting anymore?"
Kazuya's eyes narrowed at Jin. "Well since you're not taking part, I'm okay with it," he replied and went back to reading.
After a few minutes...
"Yes!" It was Junno. He won the first round. He stood up and went to kiss Kazuya on the top of the boy's honey blonde head. Kazuya just smiled and did not even look up. Jin looked for a brief second and he, too, smiled.
Ueda won the second the round and kissed Kazuya on the forehead. The next round went to Maru and he kissed Kazuya on the cheek. As Maru turned, he saw Jin eyeing him. "What?" the beat boxer asked.
"What?" Jin asked back.
"You are scowling at me," Maru said.
"I am not. I'm concentrating," Jin said but he was obviously flustered. Maru made a sound and went back to the dining table for the fourth round.
"Yosh!" Koki shouted when he finally won. He jumped up from his chair and proceeded towards Kazuya but before he could get near, the coffee table crashed into his shins. "Aww!" Koki yelped.
"Sorry," mumbled Jin. "My foot slipped."
Koki glowered at Jin and walked towards Kazuya while he rubbed his shins. He stood beside his pretty band mate and looked down. Kazuya was eyeing him guardedly, trying to sink deeper into the chair. Just as Koki slowly lowered himself, the door burst open.
"Yamashita!" Junno exclaimed at their visitor, Yamashita Tomohisa.
"Yamapi!" Jin gleefully said and quickly stood up. He walked towards Yamashita and along the way managed to drag Koki with him. "Nice of you to drop by, Pi." Jin draped his arm across Koki's shoulders tightly. "Isn't it nice for Pi to drop by, rain and all, huh, Koki?"
"No," Koki grumbled, trying to wriggle away from Jin. "I'm getting my prize."
"What prize?" asked Yamashita as he entered the room.
"We're playing Kiss Kame," Junno said.
"Kiss Kame?" Yamashita asked and looked at Kazuya who was merely watching everything.
"It's any game as long as the winner gets to kiss Kazuya," Junno explained.
Yamashita's eyes lit up. "Shuuji-jun is the prize? I am so in!" Yamapi pulled up a chair and sat between Maru and Ueda.
"Not you, too, Pi," Kazuya dejectedly whimpered.
"I haven't claimed my prize!" Koki loudly complained as he finally wrenched himself free from Akanishi.
"It's forfeited," Akanishi said and pushed Koki towards the table.
"What?" Koki asked, incredulous.
"It's forfeited," repeated Akanishi. "You didn't claim your prize immediately so it's forfeited."
"There's no such rule," Koki protested.
"Well, there's no such game as Kiss Kame," Kazuya interjected, glad to be saved from being kissed by Koki. Koki is far from being wholesome and harmless, Kazuya thought; he had a song entitled 'Make You Wet.'
"But?" Koki tried to protest.
Akanishi grabbed Junno's right shoulder. "There is that rule, right, Junno?" Akanishi said.
"Ha?" Junno asked. Akanishi tightened his hold on Junno's shoulder making the latter wince. "Yes, there is that rule. Sorry, Koki." Akanishi let go of Junno's shoulder and shoved Koki back on his chair.
"Hey! Stop dawdling, let's play! My princess awaits my kiss," Yamashita said as he rubbed his palms together and blew Kazuya a kiss. Kazuya retaliated with a glare. Yamashita noticed Akanishi sat back on the couch and picked up the PSP. "What, Jin's not playing?"
"He didn't want to kiss Kazuya," Maru said.
"Yeah, right," Yamapi said, scoffing. "Probably because he wouldn't be able to stop and before you know it, there's a live show right before our very eyes." He laughed while the others merely smiled.
"Fuck you, Pi," Akanishi shot back. He threw a look at Kazuya who was looking back at him. The two quickly withdrew their gaze, both slightly flustered.
After a few minutes...
"Hallelujah, chance!" Yamapi shouted as he jumped up and with his right arm extended, pointed at Kazuya. "I'm coming, princess!"
Yamashita started for Kazuya but Akanishi suddenly stood up and blocked him. "Wait!" Everyone paused and looked at Akanishi. "I won, too."
"What do you mean, you won? You're not even playing," said Koki.
Yamashita tried to shove Akanishi away. "Get out of my way," he said.
"I did, too. I won," Akanishi insisted. "I even got the highest score." Jin raised the PSP towards the other boys.
"Oh? I'm no longer the highest scorer?" Junno whined.
Koki ignored Junno. "That's not counted, Jin."
Yamashita continues to try to out step Jin. "You said any game?," Jin asserted.
"That's true, you know?" Junno interjected. Jin smiled at his simple-minded band mate.
Koki ignored him again. "I said billiards, darts, poker?I didn't mention Tekken."
"Okay, fine," Jin said and dropped the PSP on the couch. "Then count me in."
"What?" a voice from behind Jin said.
"Let me claim my prize first," Yamashita said.
"Nope, you can't," Jin said and grabbed Yamashita's shoulders and turned his friend around before shoving him back to the table.
"What do you mean??" Yamashita protested.
"It's the claim-immediately-or-it's-forfeited clause," Junno explained and once again, Jin smiled at him gratefully.
Six boys now sat around the dining table. Kazuya stood up. "Okay, Kiss Kame's over. Kame's going to sleep now?"
Koki immediately stood up and blocked Kazuya. "No you won't?I have yet to win again and immediately claim my prize."
Kazuya pouted. "Why do you guys always pick on me?" Kazuya whined.
"Because you're Kame," Yamashita answered. And everyone started calling Kazuya "Kame."
Kazuya pouted some more. "Why don't you just play Kiss Tat-chan?"
Ueda shook his head. "Naah, it doesn't sound as good as Kiss Kame - K.K. - Kiss Kame."
"Well, then, play Kiss Koki," said Kazuya.
"Eeeeewwww!" everyone exclaimed in unison, including Koki himself.
Koki pushed Kazuya back on the chair. "Sit down and stay or we change the game to Kidnap Kame."
"Ooohhh, we don't want that," Maru interjected. "Because that always leads to?"
"Molest Kame," Yamapi threw in. "And that always leads to?"
"Fuck Kame?" Junno asked.
"Oh," Kazuya exclaimed. "That's?.that's?."
"So sit still and keep reading your script and we keep the game at Kiss Kame," Koki said and smiled evilly at his youngest band mate.
Kazuya helplessly sat back. He could not longer concentrate on the script. He'd get startled every time a chair scraped on the floor. He kept glancing at the other boys in the room. Of course, they would not really kidnap or molest or?ahm?more, Kazuya thought. But just to be safe he decided to stay.
Then, wham! Cards were slammed on the table. Jin leaned back on his chair, beaming. "I won," he softly muttered.
Kazuya stiffened especially when Jin turned to look at him. Jin turned back to face the other card players. He leaned forward and said, "Let's raise the stake?five wins and it's Take Kame to Bed."
Kazuya gasped.
"Shoot!" Koki exclaimed and started collecting the cards scattered on the table.
"I'm in!" Yamashita said and cracked his knuckles.
"No way in hell!" Kazuya shouted and stood up.
Junno looked at Kazuya then turned to the boys around the table. "Isn't that kinda unfair for Kazuya?" he asked, a little worried and a lot clueless.
"Thank you, Junno!" Kazuya said, smiling gratefully at his saviour.
Jin turned to lean towards Junno. "It's okay Junno. I meant it literally?" Jin said smiling.
Junno thought for a while and his face brightened. "Oh, so you will just take him to bed and not?ahm?you know?that thing I mentioned earlier?" Junno asked.
Jin nodded but only Junno believed him, of course.
Junno smiled, relieved, then stood up. "Anyways, I'm out. I'm playing my PSP."
"No, Junno?" Kazuya said trying to stop the most harmless of his band mates.
Maru pushed himself away from the table and declared, "Me, too. I'm out. I'm sleepy."
"Wait?Maru?" Kazuya appealed at his genuinely good-natured band mate.
"Well, I have to finish my new song," Ueda said and he, too, stood up.
"Oh, please, Tat-chan!" Kazuya pleaded but Ueda, together with Junno and Maru proceeded to enter their respective rooms, leaving behind the dejected Kazuya and three other leering boys.
"Sit back down, Kazu-chan," Koki ordered as he dealt the cards. "Remember Kidnap Kame?"
Yamashita took the cards dealt to him and said, "Ne, don't worry, princess. I'll save you."
Jin just threw a glance at Kazuya, grinning.
Kazuya crossed his arms across his chest and scoffed. "You know, none of you will really take me to bed and anyway you can't make me!"
"Yeah...sit back down, Kazu," Koki said.
"Sure, princess," Yamashita said.
Jin just smiled at his cards.
The game went on and on as the three remaining players took turns in winning the game. Even before the tenth game, Kazuya had lost interest in keeping watch and tried to merely read his script but he ended up falling asleep.
♥
Kazuya opened his eyes and the first thing he noticed was how his nape and his back hurt. He had fallen asleep curled up on the chair. When he turned, he saw Jin sitting on the coffee table across him.
"That couldn't be good for your back?" Jin said and smiled.
Kazuya stared back. "Who won?" he softly muttered.
Jin's smile widened. "Who do you think?" he asked back. Kazuya blinked at him for a few seconds. "Don't worry. What I said to Junno was true. I will just really - literally - take you to bed."
Jin stood up and offered his hand to Kazuya. Kazuya looked at it first then tentatively took it.
Jin helped the younger man onto his feet then led him towards the bedroom. "Though I intend to claim my Kiss Kame prize," Jin said as they approach the door.
"But it's forfeited?" Kazuya said but he was smiling.
"That clause is overturned when you win the Take Kame to Bed," Jin explained as they entered Kazuya's room.
Meanwhile, in another room...
"Baka!" Koki grunted.
"You'd do the same, baka!" Yamashita grunted back. "Would you claim Kazuya from Jin?"
"As if I could?" mumbled Koki.
"That, too? "
Silence fell between the two. Then Koki said, "You're a good friend, Pi."
Yamashita chuckled. "Thanks. You, too, Koki. What a great idea?Kiss Kame?"
