Jin and Johnny's Juniors
Yuichi Nakamaru turned to Tanaka Koki. “Koki, we're friends, right?” Koki nodded without looking up from reading a magazine. “Would you lick your fingers after getting them in my mouth?”
Koki's head snapped up at Maru, disgusted frown on his face. “Why would your fingers be in my mouth?”
“Feeding me chips...” Maru answered, not looking at him. Koki's eyes shifted to look where Maru's gaze was fixed.
A few steps away from them, Kamenashi Kazuya sat on the corner of the couch - left knee propped up, right leg folded with his right foot behind his left ankle. His short straight hazel hair sloppily framed his face, making him look 16 instead of 23. His dark chocolate eyes, sans make up, gazed fixedly at the television set. A hand clutches a bag of chips.
Beside him, sat Akanishi Jin - socked feet planted on the edge of the center table, leaning sidewards toward - but not touching - Kazuya. His hands were busy on the portable video console. His dark brown eyes squints despite his prescription glasses, mouth set in determined pout. He had tied back his dark hair, making him look like a girl.
Kazuya, eyes still on the television, would dip inside the foil bag, takes several chips, places one inside his mouth then stretches same hand towards Jin's mouth. Jin, without looking up from his game, would open his mouth and take in the offered chips. Quite often, he'd manage to close his mouth on Kazuya's fingers. Fingers empty, Kazuya would bring his hand back towards his mouth and lick his fingers clean.
Koki, still watching their two oblivious band mates, smiled. “Keep it down, Maru. They don't know they're boyfriends.”

Akanishi Jin was tired. They have been rehearsing for their concert on top of shooting their regular television show, photo shoots and all other bunch of stuff they do as idols a.k.a. Johnny's slaves.
All he really wants is to collapse and die for the night. But there he was sitting by his dresser as several members of Johnny's Juniors gathered around him looking like sick puppies. They are, in fact, sick puppies - love sick puppies. But not at him. They were love sick puppies of Kamenashi Kazuya and they all wanted to talk to him.
The boys were insistent and would not take no for an answer. Jin could very well throw them all out of the window, Johnny's wrath be damned. But he was tired and did not want to exert any unnecessary physical effort. Besides, he thinks it's cute that the little boys are enamored at Kazuya, not to mention, that this poses a vast resource for annoying Kazuya later.
So Jin swiveled on his chair and turned towards several young and eager faces. “So...what can I do for you, boys?” For a while there, Jin thought he sounded like Johnny and he shivered.
“You know what's up. We like Kazuya and we want him to be our boyfriend,” said one junior who's probably one of the oldest at 13.
Jin knew that, of course, but he liked to mock. “All of you at the same time?” he asked.
“NO!” The young boys all said at the same time then exchanged glares at each other. Jin tried to keep a straight face.
“We are rivals to Kamenashi-senpai's heart,” piped in the smallest and probably only 11. Jin thought he was cute.
“Uh-huh” Jin murmured dryly, his face blank.
“First things first, Akanishi-senpai. Are you his boyfriend?” asked another Junior.
“No.”
“Why not?” the cute one asked. All the boys' faces were scrunched, one way or another, as if Jin had just said something unbelievable like preferring spinach juice over chocolate ice cream.
Jin was suddenly dumbstruck. For a moment he started to wonder why. But he fought to keep his mind from being baited. This is not about Kazuya and him, he reminded himself. There is no Kazuya and him. “I don't know. It just is.”
“Good,” said the one who spoke first.
Jin raised an eyebrow at the impertinence. “Is that it? That's all you want to know?”
“No. Actually, we want to know more about Kazuya,” said one. “How we can make him pay more attention to us? You know, consider us as more than kohais. To think about us as possible lovers.”
“We figured you'd be the best person to tell us how,” said another.
“Me,” Jin said, slightly intrigued. “Why?”
“Because we talked about this and we all decided that if there is someone among Kazuya's colleagues who could most likely be his lover, it would be you.”
Something in Jin jumped in delight. These brats may not be so bad at all. “You think so?”
“Just most likely but not enough because you're not.” Again, the impertinent one. And even arrogantly added, “I'll make sure Kazu-chan falls for me.”
Jin looks at the boy, sizing him up then looks at the window at the far end of the room. He was disappointed that the window was not big enough and the boy not small enough.
“Okay, our next question is: Is Kazuya a virgin?”
Jin almost broke out laughing but immediately caught himself. “Yes... and cows can jump over the moon.”
The boy looked sheepish. “I mean, with boys.”
“Oh, that...” Jin though for a while then realized he does not know. He seriously has no idea. “I don't know.”
“Why not?” asked the same impertinent boy.
“Well, pardonez moi. I'm neither Kazuya's penis nor his asshole so I'm not privy to that information,” Jin anwered, annoyed.
The boys looked more embarrassed.
“Do you think he likes boys? I mean, you know, that way?”
“Yeah, of course,” Jin immediately answered then wondered why he was so sure.
They were interrupted when there was a knock on the door. The door opened and Kazuya peeked in. And much like when a teacher suddenly appears inside a room full of rowdy students, Johnny's Juniors quickly fell into hushed silence. This did not go unnoticed to Kazuya. Then seeing Jin with the Juniors, Kazuya was immediately suspicious. “What's going on?”
“Nothing,” Jin deadpanned.
Kazuya walked in but stayed by the door. He had obviously just taken a shower - his hair was still damp and his face scrubbed clean. He was wearing an old faded jeans, a white shirt with a cartoon character printed on the center and open-toed leather sandals.
“We're hanging out at Junno's...you coming?” Kazuya said, shifting his weight from one foot to the other, thereby, swinging his ass from right to left.
“Yeah,” Jin said, still eyeing Kazuya. Kazuya looked just as young and cute as the Juniors but much much hotter, Jin thought. Couldn't blame the JJ's. And someone must have turned off the a/c because it was getting hot in the room. “I'll just finish up here and I'll follow.”
Kazuya didn't move but shifted his eyes warily from Jin to the Juniors then back to Jin. “Is something wrong?”
“No, they are just asking me for advice.” Jin saw how the Juniors suddenly looked panicked and some even blushed. For a moment, he toyed with the idea of making the young kids squirm some more.
Kazuya was silent. Jin knew very well the look in Kazuya's face. “Don't get them into trouble, Jin. They're just kids.”
“I'm not a kid,” the impertinent one blurted out.
“'Course not. You're a gnat,” Jin said, then to Kazuya. “I'm just giving them advice on love.”
Kazuya did his trademark 'tsk' with a smirk. “As I said, don't get them into trouble.”
“I won't. Stop being such a mother,” Jin said. “Now, go! I'll be right behind you.”
♥
“They asked if you were still a virgin.”
“So what did you say?”
“'Course I told them the truth.” Jin paused. “I said you're pure as a driven snow.”
The rest of KAT-TUN broke out into laughter.
“Did you tell them there's no way in hell I'd go for any one of them,” Kazuya asked, ignoring his still laughing band mates.
Jin looked incredulous. “I could not possibly break their little hearts, could I?”
Kazuya scoffed. “Yeah...right...like you don't break little hearts for breakfast. What else did they ask?”
“They wanted to know if I'm your boyfriend,” Jin said. He paused then added, “I said yes.” He carefully watched Kazuya's face, not knowing exactly what he expects to see.
Kame just stared back, his expression unreadable. Silent tension hung in the air as the rest of KAT-TUN grew quiet with bated breath.
Except for one Taguchi Junnosuke, who after downing his beer and belching, asked, “Seriously?” Thereby unwittingly interrupting a potentially pivotal moment between two of his band mates. So oblivious was Junno, he had no idea why the next moment Koki whacked him on the head, Maru was glaring at him and Ueda had an exasperated look on his face.
The moment broken, Jin grinned and said, “No. I said I wasn't.”
Ueda covered his mouth with his hand to hide his smile. He noted Jin used the past tense.
“And Kame...if ever you do decide you have loli-complex and hook up with one of them, I sure hope you do not pick the impertinent gnat.”
“Why not?”
“He's impertinent and obnoxious.”
“So what...so are you...” Kazuya mumbled then he stiffened as he belatedly realize what his reply implied.
“What did you say?” Jin asked, brows furrowed.
“Nothing.” Kazuya drew an imperceptible sigh of relief. When he turned he saw Maru smiling meaningfully at him. Kazuya took a swig of his beer, hiding the blush creeping up his face.

Kazuya was unusually late that morning. He had somehow overslept. No matter how young and strong and disciplined he is, there is only so much 2-hour-daily-average sleep he can take. He was two hours late that morning and by the time he arrived at the JE Building, the rest of his band mates were already in their dressing room.
“Kame!” Jin happily greeted upon seeing him. “We have been waiting for you!” He went up to Kazuya, draped an arm around the younger man's shoulders and led him towards his dresser piled with gifts.
“It's not my birthday,” Kazuya said, bewildered, especially at the expectant look of his band mates.
“Open them, Kame!” Junno said and handed Kazuya a small box wrapped in pink velvet and pink ribbon.
Kazuya sat on his chair and took the gift-wrapped box from Junno. “Whose are these from?”
“Your Junior admirers,” Ueda offered.
Kazuya glanced a suspicious look at Jin and tentatively opened the pink box to reveal a cartridge for a video game. His brows furrowed. Junno yelped in delight and snatched the box, leaving Kazuya empty-handed.
“Open this!” Koki said and shoved a larger gift-wrapped box in front of Kazuya's face. “C'mon, c'mon!”
Kazuya took the box and unwrapped it. Even before he could open the lid, Koki had snatched it, exclaiming, “Trainers! YES!”
Junno and Koki went to their respective dressers, gleefully looking at “Kazuya's gifts.” Kazuya looked up at his expectant three remaining band mates. He randomly chose a box - a small one - and quickly unwrapped it. “Guitar strings,” Kazuya mumbled when he sees the content of the box.
“That would be mine,” Ueda said. Kazuya handed him the box.
As Ueda retreated, Kazuya took another brightly colored paper bag. It felt soft like cashmere sweater. Without even opening it, he handed it to Maru. “Thanks, Kame,” he said as he pulls out the sweater.
“One can never have enough argyle sweaters,” was Kazuya's only comment.
That left Akanishi Jin. Kazuya looked at the remaining box. “Take it,” he said.
Jin did. “You're such a sweetheart, Kame,” Jin said and gave him a light peck on the cheek.
Kazuya did not even bother to ask. He just knows Akanishi Jin was behind it all.
Of course, he was right because all through out the day Johnny's Juniors would come up to him to ask if he liked the gift Akaneshi-senpai, in all his beneficence, recommended that Kazuya would love.

The following day, Kazuya found the long table in the lounge filled with bento boxes and his band mates were already digging in in some of them. “Yor wunch,” Koki said, with half a piece of chicken still hanging from his mouth. “Fwom yo admiwews.”
“I'd say, the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach,” Maru declared then knocked knuckles with Ueda.
Kazuya smirked then sat resignedly on a chair and opened the bento Junno pushed towards him. In an instant, Jin's chopsticks fished out from his bento the pickled plum then scooped out the rice discolored by the fruit. Kazuya, in turn, peeked at Jin's bento then took the squid rings from it.
“Love is such a beautiful thing,” Ueda commented.
Maru looked from Ueda to Kazuya and Jin whose chopsticks goes from one's bento to the other's without much ado.
“Hey!” Junno suddenly exclaimed, catching everyone's attention. “You think the Juniors put love potion in these?”
Everyone froze, chopsticks in mid-air, cheeks puffed with food unchewed in mouths. Jin immediately snatched the bento away from Kazuya and thwacked the younger man at the back of his head making Kazuya spit out the food in his mouth.

“Either you're Snow White or the Scout Master. So which is which?” Jin asked. He was standing by the foyer of Kazuya's apartment, looking at several JJ's with sleeping bags spread around them.
“I need a word with you,” Kazuya said sternly. “In my room, please.” He then turned and quickly stormed inside his bed room.
Jin crossed the living room, blatantly walking over the sleeping bags, with a smug expression on his face as the JJ's glared at him.
But as soon as he entered Kazuya's room and closed the door behind him, he lost the smug look.
“What the hell did you tell them?”
“Nothing!” Jin said. Kazuya's eyes narrowed. “I swear! I told them you like hanging out with the boys. Not my fault they are so pubescent their idea of hanging out is sleep over. Did I actually see plushies out there?”
Kazuya sighed. “Yeah...and a couple of Transformer robots.” Jin started to laugh. “This isn't funny.” But Kazuya had broken into a wide grin himself.
Kazuya plopped on his bed. “What am I gonna do, Jin?”
Jin sat beside him then allowed himself to fall lying on the bed. He automatically snatched a pillow overhead but he made the mistake of placing it on his face. In an instant, he was filled with the unmistakable scent of Kazuya. His mind swirled. His stomach lurched. His groin twitched. Jin felt like he was drowning. He flailed and flung the pillow right across the room as he sat up - panic-stricken and gasping for air.
“What's wrong?” Kazuya worriedly asked.
Jin stared back at Kazuya, his mind racing. “N-n-not-nothing...” he stammered.
Kazuya looked at his pillow on the floor. “Does my pillow smell?”
“Yes...” Of heaven, Jin wanted to add. Then he saw the distraught look on Kazuya's face. “No! I'm just...I choked.”
Kazuya looked unconvinced.
To allay his band mate's doubt, Jin stood up and took the pillow. “I swear it doesn't smell.” He pushed it against his face. “Hmmm,” he murmured as he inhaled. And he was intoxicated all over again. He staggered and managed to keep himself upright by placing a palm against a bookshelf. He shook his head because he swear he felt his eyes were crossed.
Kazuya looked extremely puzzled.
They were interrupted by a knocking on the door.
Jin opened the door. “What?” he hissed, seeing the impertinent Junior.
“Are you sleeping over?” the boy asked, apparent displeasure in his voice.
“Why? What's it to you?” Jin snapped back.
“Because we're much too crowded out there.”
“So?”
“So if you're sleeping over, you can take my sleeping bag and I'll just sleep here inside Kazu-chan's room.”
Jin scoffed. “And what made you think my idea of nocturnal heaven is to be squished among gnats, plushies and robots?”
Another Junior appeared from behind the first one. “Take my sleeping bag, Akanishi-senpai. I'll sleep here.”
Then there was shoving and pulling of Juniors and a loud chorus of “I'm sleeping with Kamenashi-senpai!”
“Okay! Okay! Enough!” Kazuya intervened, standing in the middle of pajama-clad Juniors.
“Kamenashi-senpai, I cannot sleep on the floor,” wailed the smallest one. “My back hurts,”
“Really?” Kazuya asked, sincerely concerned
Jin rolled his eyes. “Manipulative brat,” he mumbled.
“My back hurts, too!” someone said. Again, there was a chorus of complaints of hurting body parts.
“Hey! Hey!” Jin shouted. “Nobody's sleeping on Kame's bed!”
“But my back really hurts...” the smallest one said again, his squeaky voice quivering.
Jin saw Kazuya's expression softening at the youngest one.
“Well, then stop sleeping with your robot because you roll over it during the night. Now, out! Before you all get really hurt.”
“Jin!” Kazuya reprimanded.
“AM NOT LEAVING!” said impertinent boy and crossed his arm around his chest.
“Why not?” Jin asked, mimicking the boy's action.
“I'm not leaving my Kazu-chan alone with you. I don't trust you.”
“He is not YOUR Kazu-chan. He is MY Kazu-chan.” Jin took a step towards the boy but Kazuya was quick to block him.
“Jin,” he said sternly.
“Just a light knock on the head...” Jin bargained. Kazuya scowled.
“See? He's violent.”
Kazuya turned to the young boys. “Jin is not going to hurt me.”
“Yeah, I promise I'd be gentle...”
Kazuya gave him a backward kick.
“But he is not your boyfriend...”
“I am,” Jin said, standing shoulder to shoulder with Kazuya.
“You said you're not!”
“I lied.”
“No way. Kazu-chan doesn't like you that way. You're not his boyfriend!”
“I so am, you gnat!”
“You're just saying that to keep us out of Kamenashi-senpai's room,” manipulative brat said complete with quivering lips and teary eyes. “Kamenashi-senpai, you're not in love with him, are you?”
Jin was scowling. He was thinking the first Junior to be thrown out of Kazuya's window had just become a toss up between the impertinent gnat and the manipulative brat. Or maybe they could go together. Jin sizes up the window. He was so lost in his evil scheme, Kazuya's reply barely registered. “What did you say?” he asked Kazuya but the latter was already stunned silent, face slowly reddening. Jin turned to the Juniors who all looked crest-fallen. “What did he say?”
“He said he is in love with you,” a breaking voice answered.
“Oh...” said Jin. He started tapping the toes of his right foot. He gnawed on his lips, trying to suppress the bloating desire within him to explode in jubilation.
Manipulative brat started to cry.
“I hate you, Akanishi Jin!” blurted impertinent gnat as he draped an arm around the crying boy and led him out of Kazuya's room with the other boys trailing behind. The last one to leave pulled the door close behind him.
The two young men stood silent. Kazuya remains transfixed, still unable to face Jin. “You know, I only said that to get them off my back...”
“Uh-huh,” was Jin's unconvinced response.
Kazuya finally turned to look at Jin and saw the grim expression on the other man's face. An animated smile appeared on Kazuya's face. “But just so they wont suspect anything, maybe we should pretend we're boyfriends...”
Jin raised an eyebrow, his upper lip stiffening.
“That's why you should sleep over. You can take the bed, I'd sleep on the floor.” Kazuya started pulling the duvet from his bed and laying it on the floor.
“Okay, cut the crap, Kame,” Jin said, exasperated. “Stop being such a prig and just admit you meant it when you said you're in love with me.”
Kazuya straightened up then scoffed. “Well, aren't you impertinent!”
“Admit it or I'll take you up on your offer and really make you sleep on the floor.”
“Even if you know fully well I have a bad back?”
“You're such a manipulative brat.”
A few minutes later, after much kissing and fondling, Jin and Kazuya lay snuggled against each other.
“Maybe we should check up on them,” Kazuya said.
“Maybe not,” Jin said. He didn't want to let go of Kazuya but the latter had sat up.
“Let's just see if they're okay...”
“They are okay, Kazuya. Stop being a mother. That's why you attract little boys.”
Kazuya ignored him and went out of the room. Jin sighed and helplessly followed his new boyfriend.
“Aren't they cute?” Kazuya said, gazing at the Juniors, all asleep in various poses. He turned towards Jin. “Did we look that cute sleeping when we were Juniors?”
Jin did not reply. He was transfixed at something. It was fairly dark and the sleeping boys were barely illuminated by the light coming from inside Kazuya's room. But Jin was fairly sure impertinent gnat and manipulative brat were sleeping in each other's arms.

“I so hate Akame,” Koki grumbled.
“Don't you think ten thousand bucks is too much?” Maru tried to bargain.
Ueda resignedly took several bills from his wallet.
“A bet's a bet. And it's not too much because I promised the Juniors a night at the arcade if they pull it off. And they did," Junno said with a hand outstretched, palm up. "So, who's clueless now?" he added, triumphant grin on his face.
The End
