And we note our place with book markers to measure what we've lost

I love driving on 288, because it it two (too) gross.

I drove like a bajillion miles today. Album du jour: Wilco-Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.

My skin is peeling off. Rude.

At work, a girl walked in with blue-framed nomad sunglasses.
Me: I love your glasses! I have the same ones, but in purple."
Her: [very amused] Thanks!
Me: I got them for like thirty cents at Goodwill. It was the best day of my life.
Her: What! I paid fourteen dollars for these at Urban Outfitters!

What can I say, I'm thrifty.

And I've gone completely batty. After sitting and trying to write an expletiving research paper for hours on end, I found myself lying on the floor, trying to convince my cat into writing it for me.

I mean, she doesn't even have opposable thumbs or any knowledge whatsoever of Western History.

AND I CANNOT WRITE ANY MORE.

sunburn, nothing worthwhile, sweet shades, history, 288
