Here We Are
I always seem to wait a while to put something on here. I guess because I am on watchdesk.com looking at all the mess on there. Its either trying to figure out how to get and keep people on the volunteer fire and rescue side of the fire service here and worry what the county leaders will do to us next.
Instead of working with the volunteers its take it or get out. One fire department is in trouble because they don't have money to pay the bank for their apparatus and could lose it all. The county said if they don't have a fire engine they will not have a firehouse because they will shut it down.
When the people elected the present county leader I think he has held a grudge against the volunteers because of his speech at a volunteer meeting where the crowd was talking so much it drowned him out.
He hasn't made friends in the county police department either because he was the states attorney for the county and every trial turned the case against the police instead of the criminals.
Well he is in his 2nd term of office and will be out come 2010. I worry what be left by the then. I guess he will run for governor then. In that case I will leave this state and move to Virginia before the state goes down the drain.
