Neko Con Follow Up
Well I should have done this right after but I sort of got busy and doing it now.
The trip down was good with Andria. Got to stay in the same hotel and room from last year and then went to see what had to be done at the con. Helped with putting together con bags for early arrives then left to get something to eat and back to the hotel to get some rest.
Friday we had breakfast and then to Target to get a pill case for my meds because I left the one I use at home, plus get lunch.
Got to the con and worked most of the hours it was open.
There were some problems like some shop lifting in the dealers room and at the dance a young lady who fainted and refused to be treated.
Saturday had to go to McDonald's to get something to eat because the breakfast area was full.
There was a beating by some teens of a twelve year old for having a box for a costume, a older man touching a underage girl and two girls that fainted during the dance. Someone kicked a hole in the wall near a entrance to the con.
Most of the incidents the people involved were caught and taken care of for the beating, the touching and the kick to the wall.
Sunday everything was winding down and then the break down. The thing was the freight elevator broke down and getting the stage equipment became a job from the second floor. The biggest problem was the light towers which ended up being carried down the stairs by four of us tobe loaded on the truck.
After all that getting to the hotel and getting cleaned up and back to the center for dinner.
After the meal and the fun by the staff with the table mirrors Andria and myself went back to the hotel to get some sleep and get on the road in the morning.
The trip home was good.
When I got home my father had messed with my room and moved things which will take awhile to get things back to where I can find things that he moved that I had plans for.
I feel like I should lock my door and tell him I will take care of things myself. But thats like talking to a bear. The bear is going to do what it wants.
