Fast Forward
So I can't seem to finish a journal that requires actual writing, but for whatever reason I happen to enjoy updating this one - must be a Millennial thing.
Reading that previous entry was a little rough but I'm happy to report that I'm still me! And that new, wonderful man I mentioned happens to be my boyfriend - going on almost 3 years (unofficially). And if I'm lucky enough (and well if he's lucky enough too), maybe we'll even be engaged in the near future. Now that's definitely a first for me, actually wanting to be engaged, get married, etc. Still trying to adjust to the idea of kids, but I've got plenty of time for that one. In the meantime, I'm trying out motherhood with my fur child (dog) Yoshi. He's definitely a challenge!
That trip to Dublin, Paris, and London was only the beginning too. Since that year, I started a new thing where I travel to some place I've never been at least once a year - it's my favorite thing to do! And since then, I've been to Scotland, Amsterdam, Vermont, New Orleans, Cancun, and I'm going to Italy in August.
I still work the same job which is really the only upsetting factor in my life and I'm trying to change that but it's a lot harder than I thought it would be. I have my good days and bad days as with any job, but more bad days than good and way more stress I think than most. My goal is to find another job by the end of this year, so wish me luck!
