[ + ] since i had so much fun with my last picspam, i decided to do another one! i chose 10 shows that i think everyone should watch if not for the plot, at least for the prettiness.
prettiest episode: 7.06 him
the first three seasons of buffy was so dark and tasteless. since that time it has evolved ever since season 4. the shows are brighter, vivid, more pretty, even the darker scenes. i thought HIM was the prettiest, because we hardly see a lot of daytime scenes and in season 7 they showed more of that. it was all really pretty.
prettiest episode: 4.10 songs to die and live by
all of one tree hill is really pretty. there are always lots of vibrant scenes and the club scenes are always pretty, too. SONGS THAT WE DIE AND LIVE BY was so incredibly pretty. i love the episode and the coloring. there were lots of outside scenes where it showed all those pretty fall colors, and the scenes in the hospital were very colorful. i love it.
prettiest episode: 5.14 smile time
from the beginning, angel started out with beautiful coloring. i was surprised how those darker scenes still looked pretty, when i expected them to look like how buffy did in the beginning. this was a difficult one to choose, since there were so many pretty episodes, but i chose SMILE TIME, because all the scenes were really pretty. since it was the episode where angel turns into a puppet, it had that popping coloring we usually see in shows like barney and the sesame street. plus. how cute was angel as a puppet?
prettiest episode: 4.04 devoted
smallville has always had such wonderful coloring. every scene they manage to choose the perfect schemes. in the first few seasons there were so many pretty sunset scenes and a visual of the barn in the morning. gorgeous. DEVOTED had some of the best coloring in my opinion. most of the scenes were at the school on the football field, and everything was coloring - the grass, the players, the audience. i loved it. plus, jason and lana love!
prettiest episode: 3.04 all halliwell's eve
a lot of charmed scenes are at the manor and the coloring is always great in these scenes. the house is beautiful - with it's colorful windows - which helps. ALL HALLIWELL'S EVE was one of my favorites. usually the best colors are when it's outside, and most of this show was outside. it was just beautiful. lots of green, browns, oranges.
prettiest episode: 2.08 the woman in the sand
bones is always so bright and amazing. the darker scenes have perfect contrast and depth. it always comes together. THE WOMAN IN THE SAND immediately started out in a desert. it was really pretty and i love desert scenes. then there was the scene where booth and brennan were working under cover. the whole scene was really pretty. how hot are they together? *drools*
prettiest episode: 2.04 first down
i love prison break's blues and greens. it's always so pretty. season 2 was a nice change of pace since we finally got to see the boys in an outside environment. season 1 it was more dark and less choices for some creativity since they were constantly in a prison cell. FIRST DOWN had lots of green from the outside environment. the darker ones were great, too. i loved it!
prettiest episode: 1.14 heart of gold
firefly always has the perfect coloring for every scene. when they are on the ship it's more discreet, brownish, yet perfect contrasting. when they are off the ship things get bright and more vivid. there are also scenes where they are in a hospital like in ARIEL where it's more of a cooler and bluish setting. HEART OF GOLD had lots of great scenes outside and the coloring of the sky was really brought out in here.
prettiest episode: 1.04 bad news blair
gossip girl is amazing. the first thing that got me hooked was the coloring. the girls are always wearing colorful dresses and the architectures in these movies are always pretty. have you seen blair's house? GORGEOUS. BAD NEWS BLAIR had some really great coloring like any of the other shows, but the last scene with blair and serena taking pictures shows exactly what i mean about the colorful dresses and all those vivid schemes.
prettiest episode: 1.02
i rarely watch ugly betty, but my mom is a addicted to it. i'll be honest. the number one thing that gets my attention on this show is the colors. it's by far one of the best of scene. the hues saturation and everything. i notice they always make betty and the other cast members where lots of reds, yellows, purples to blend in with the shows scheme.
