let the good times roll

Life is just life, right? Things happen, you deal with it, and you move on. It's the journey that matters; I can get that. But shouldn't life make sense? Maybe on some higher level it does.

Anyway, that's my drunken philosophical though of the night. I originally wrote it after calling Tessa. It was very sad, she and I were just sobbing over the telephone. God, I can't even imagine losing my mother. I so wish I could be there in Germany with her. :(

My boyfriend called me tonight. It was snowing in Houghton, and it made him think of me. It was so sweet. I'm really hoping this relationship goes somewhere. I think it will, just because it feels Right. Gentle and warm, and I never lose that feeling, even when my mind is full of doubts.

My mother texted me. That makes me happy, because I don't hear from her too often.

Did a lot of chores today. Cleaned my room, washed my sheets, helped dad put up Christmas lights, had the most delicious crab legs ever, and then went bowling with Alaine and Brett. That was so much fun. I broke a hundred! I get better as I drink. I'm really surprised by how much I drank tonight. I had a couple of the best peach drinks at Aunt Kim's, then four glasses of beer at the bowling alley.

and life goes on, good times
