Anyway! As per usual your fics are so beautifully wrought with emotion. You really do such an amazing job of bringing out the complexities of human nature and you've given Sosuke's character so much more depth and justice than LF did.
In no way were you condoning his violence, but neither did u neglect the fact that at the end of the day Sosuke himself is a victim and a tortured soul. It's love gone wrong and in some ways he himself can't understand his own violence.
And the description of him going about his routine of laying out the dinner table, something so simple and mundane but loaded with tension, against the ticking of the clock was really poignant and powerful.
And of course, his final voicing of something he'd known all along, “It wasn’t her fault……I should have known better." matching his words earlier to Uchi is in some ways his steps forward to redemption.
Honestly hun, thank you so much for the writing this - it's always such a pleasure reading your fics.
Another great read! |

And yep, it's love gone wrong and sadly in reality, such things happen like that all the time. I guess sometimes it's become so much of a habit and ingrained in u, that violence becomes part of ur reaction and how u retaliate. And the ending must be my secret inner optimist at work.
And it's always a pleasure reading ur comment. <3
