I wanna wake up in a city that.....Never does the same speed as the car net to them so nobody can pass. SRSLY!
OK, So to all our Metro-Area friends:
We will be up in NY March 15th, arriving in NY JFK at 730 in the freakin' AM. The flight sadly is only 1.5 hours. Not even enough time for a drink or two to calm my nerves.
Poor Hubby will have to deal with me awake and SOBER. FUN!
In other news, Things here have been quite stressful, but progressive.
I rocked out last weekend and this weekend we should be getting a washer and dryer. Finally.
Aaron's parents have generously offered to give them to us as gifts with money to spare for a shed, since our B-Days are right around the corner. I feel guilty taking such extravagant gifts but sadly, we CAN use them. I just wish I did not feel so horrible about accepting them. I will be the first to offer gifts (and sadly the first to complain if I feel slighted) but I even tell my ma not to give me anything. There is going to be a day where we may truly need something with no way to get it but to rely on someone so I feel like I am using my get out of jail free card for frivilous stuff though this stuff really is not frivilous. I mean, we *COULD* do what we have been doing, which is travelling to the nearest laundromat every week which is 40-45 minutes away (really...) and spend $15 to wash & dry. But this takes precious time and energy. The thing is, though - NC does not charge for well-water usage so it is not like if we do laundry home we will be slapped with a water bill. I am not sure if city resident get charged. I think we have our own septic tank. Details Fuzzy. Like a Kittie.
Speaking of animals, this is the second time and absoloutely irresistible canine has followed us home and had this look like "Please let me stay here"
This adoreable brown lab (whom was quite calm and not even a large dog) was just hanging out and followed us up the driveway when we came home tonight. It needed a bath badly, but it had no collar and was very friendly. I soooooo just wantd to scoop him/her (?) up and adopt.
*le sigh*
I told Aaron I wanted to get a dog when we were in NY and just bring it back down with us. We want to get a kittie, but we are having trouble locating a Siberian due to Aaron's severe allergies.
I am tired and my neck hurts.
*Peace & Love To All!*
I applied to Whole Foods last night online, so we'll see what pans out.
