[Toushirou and Momo were conspiring together, she was sure of it. This whole awkward 'I accidentally murdered you' and 'I have no idea what you're not-talking about thing but why aren't you talking to me' vibe that the two of them had going on was a plot to make her feel old.

She was not old! Of course, by mortal standards she was ancient, but ( Read more... )

[Aang is still exploring Luceti, and inevitably getting into his own bout of trouble. His curiosity is what often gets the best of him, after all. During one of his explorations... He spot the orange haired woman sleeping.

And far too close to the ledge. He paused, staring. Should he let her sleep...? Or warn her she could roll off at any second?! Let's see!]

[What is this concern about being close to the ledge? She's obviously perfectly fine if people will just let her sleep.

She... just needs... yup, curling up the slightest bit now.]

[He's going to quirk a smile cause she looks like she's comfortable, but it still could be dangerous. Not everyone has air bending or some cool power to keep them from falling off, and he doesn't know her... So.]

[Aang has an idea! Airbending himself to land on top of the roof, he crouched beside Rangiku's shoulder. After a moment he gently shook her shoulder.]

Hey, lady! I don't think it's a good idea to sleep up here--you could fall off or something.

[-1 Points for Aang, probably.]

[Maaaaah, who is shaking her? Have a lazy swat in your general direction - hope it doesn't hit, she's stronger than she looks.]

[Aang manages to move back a moment, before frowning. Alright. So gentle shaking didn't work! LET'S SHAKE HER A LOT!]

Lady?

[Okay, yeah, that does it.] Oi, oi, oi! Where's the fire!

[She slowly sits up, taking care not to knock the kid who was shaking her off the roof.]

[She finally woke up! This would be a moment to cheer or something, but she was asking about a fire...] There is no fire!

[Aang smiled.] You sure sleep a lot.

Not nearly enough.

[It's delivered with a flat look as a hand goes up to the back of her head.]

[Flat looks don't really work on him, Ran! He blinked.]

But you looked like you were sleeping a lot just now.

I was sleeping. But it couldn't have been that long before you woke me up. Speaking of...

why did you wake me up?

[A look of oooh passed Aang's features, and a softer audible version before Rangiku continued on. He smiled sheepishly now.]

I didn't want you to roll off! That would have been pretty bad.

[She glances down.] Eeeh? That is a bit of a drop.

[And now for some luxurious stretching. Don't mind the gaping neckline, Aang, it's not intentional.] Guess I should thank you then. What's your name?

[He's just not paying attention to it, Rangiku! You're in luck. Just go look for an adult guy and do that.]

I just didn't want you to fall, that's all. No thanks necessary. [For now, Aang beamed.] I'm Aang! Who are you?

Matsumoto Rangiku. [And you're lucky you're cute, kid.] And I wasn't going to fall. You're new here, I take it?

Oh! It's nice to meet you, then. [H-he's not going to touch on the falling part anymore. For now, anyway. But he's slightly surprised.] I am. How'd you guess?

Your tattoos. [She taps her own forehead lightly.] I haven't seen many people with them here. They remind me of a friend of mine from back home.
